I've removed the link for now I am reworking this song based on some excellent advice I've gotten on making changes to this song.

Sorry, I'll post the new version sometime soon, hopefully it will sound much better.

Dude Ivey
I love the sound of the clean guitar and great playing too. Great job.

Well, you sing about like I do, but that's O.K. because your at least singing and making the effort. The guitar playing is good but to far up front in the song, the vocals should always stand out front where singing is going to be in a song. Drums will be heard better when you drop the guitar back a bit and bring up the vocals a tad, just so the are up front. It is a good song that just needs a touch here and there. You could hit it with a resonant filter to see how that effects everything. Mastering is all about fine tuning each track individually before mastering the over all mix. Here are a couple of pointers to consider, maximize, equalizer, dynamics, stereo imaging,  post equalizer, harmonics exciter, reverb and dithering. These aren't all necessarily used on each track but each track has to work in the over all spectrum of a completed song. Hope this will be helpful. Sorry about your lost love, but if it brought you to a better place than you  were, as stated, then it was all worth it.

Peace be with you. Blessings, John

Thank you man, If someone would have told me that 3 years ago I would have had no idea what they are talking about. This is very helpful. I was thinking about it while reading your reply and I can hear where you are right on. Several things I never thought about before. I mean, it's like I hear it, but because it's me I didn't really realize it. Thanks again for the kind comments. This is VERY EXTREMELY helpful!!

Thank you,

Bobby

Thanks for taking the time to listen and reply, I also wanna mention if you use Pod Farm 1 I have the settings saved for my guitar if you ever want them I'd be more than happy to send them to you. I use an old strat style Martin SSL-10 Electric guitar, although I can't remember what position I had the 5 way toggle switch set in when I did this.

Thanks again for the kind comments!!
