Whether or not.

I always thought his vocals were key to the success of the Eagles first few albums ( the first, Desparado ........)

And that falsetto on One of these Nights ......., Take it to the Limit

What a bizarre, sad story.

The 3-hour documentary 'History of The Eagles' is a fascinating watch. There's a segment about how Meisner eventually refused to do 'Take It To The Limit' as an encore because he wasn't sure if he could always hit *that* note.

Glenn Frey and Don Felder fighting too..yikes, no love lost there.

Hi,

Kinda sad, but it tells you that the greed is more important than the person, and if I were a judge, I probably would disqualify those folks from ever getting involved in these affairs.

But a "friend" ... saying those things is a bit weird, but I've known a few gold-diggers in my life ... and I won't say anymore! And Hollywood is not the worse ... NY and London are, probably!

I always liked the Eagles but that documentary and the coldness really put me off. Felder has a new album out and has been on the road with The Doobie Brothers. Joe seems to sort of float above it all but IMO, The Eagles are not The Eagles without Felder... unless they want to go back to the Desperado lineup (I love that album). A friend and I used to play most of Desperado, a lot of Marshall Tucker, and a lot from The Doobies (The Captain and Me) on acoustic... those were some good times.

Money again, huh?
