Hi  Was just wondering if anybody came across a list of programs that need to be deactivated when thinking of moving to a new computer.
Problem is that I'm reinstalling windows on my current computer... currently got vista...

For example I have
Sibelius,
IK stuff,
FX expansion
Melodyne
ominsphere
Is there a way to deactivate NI stuff?

If anybody knows of any list that would be great!

You'll need to deactivate the IK stuff on the user area of your online account.

Toontrack for sure. I don't think NI is an issue.

That would depend on how you authorize.  I have the dongle and do it by logging in. You can use it on as many machines as you want if you do the login method.

I am about to clone my C: drive (it's three years old and  it's time to replace it before it goes tits up).

So it seems I'll have to (at least) reauth:

IK
Toontrack
Scuffham S-Gear
BFD/2/3/Eco

I'll assume all iLok stuff will work out of the box. As will all USB Dongle stuff (Waves, Plugin Alliance etc.)

From my experience IK stuff seems less tolerant with changes.  They do have up to 10 authorizations before you have to ask for another set.  Toontrack can be sensitive as well.  When I upgraded systems with a fresh install, I always delete my NI products then run service center then reinstall on new system and never had problems.
