Kamikaze, thanks for offering to help. I'm just curious about the studio and producer, and whether this is a popular genre in Vietnam. I'm sure most people there listen to the same generic mass-produced pop as everybody else in the world, but there are pockets of idiosyncratic and anachronistic styles around the world. For example, I recently discovered that there are still people performing 60's folk in the Philippines.

It cracked me up (with full respect to Mr.Quoc, his near blindness and motor scooter accident). I started write my response in Google Translate-like prose ... but thought it might be a bit too obscure for most who might not get the joke.
 
I got the impression from my 'research' that there was is still a market for emotive Sax in VietNam ... but equally the same production house has (/had) pop artists signed to them (My Tam - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pYGNl0hqAbU).
 
It appeared that historically, if not now, Vafaco has some Government ties and has a stated aim to produce and support 'cultural material'. Not sure how much of that is just lip service to the authorities though.
