CLEAN
The pickups are coil-tap. I didn't write the lyrics - Mike did - he marches to his own beat. And I can tell you - he could care less if someone likes his voice or not. For me - he's been a bit of an acquired taste. I think his vocals are a bit like Bob Dylan - you either like them or you don't. Thanks again everyone for taking a listen - I sure appreciate you taking the time.

Sound track for a David Lynch twin peaks bar scene.
Staggering across the rehearsal room floor in hope of finding the one remaining beer.
Falling face down off the stage.
Staring glassy-eyed at the other band members and wondering "are we still playing live or is this a recording?".

In my youth these were all were viable images and somehow this triggers those memories.
Love this tune. You captured something here - it's ferral, so be careful.

Contender for the "no holds barred" vocal of the year.

I think Manny nailed it... definitely a last call in the gin mill kinda' tune.  The guy is laying there dead drunk on the floor, but he's still singin'... a bit off key, perhaps, but he's singin' just the same... most definitely brought forth images, and brought back some memories (not all of them pleasant).  Very cool vibe to the tune though, Mark, and a really nice mix.

Great ! Simple but highly effective arrangement, great original idea...kind of reminds me of watching a John Lennon tribute act in a seedy bar sat at a table with a midget man and woman sat with me in a David Lynch movie scene. Now that's my imagination but its the song and performance that held my attention and got my imagination going. Very original, I love the guitar too...
