Lots of people tried to order soup from the soup Nazi too based on Seinfeld apparently. It's regressing to before I was born but must admit I would like to visit the cheers bar.

I would love to go to the Bitter end and catch Oz Noy sometime. I may even plan our next vacation around it. Have you been there Sharke? It would seem to be a small place from what I've seen.

That's one of those classic old places I keep meaning to check out but never got around to. Maybe I'll check out their upcoming events.

To be fair, the Soup Nazi does exist but he calls himself the Soup Man (naturally, I don't think you'd get away with "Nazi" in a business name ).

I've been to Paris and London, but not New York.  Personally, they all are too crowded and dirty.  Some of the smaller cities tend to be the best to visit in my opinion.

Totally agreed. And the Columbia River Gorge will rival anything that Europe has to offer ... without all the mansions, castles and churches of course!

Or paying a dollar to the restroom attendant for two squares of TP...

Hm... I feel like going to New York now, it's one of my favorite cities of all time. Summer vacation is coming up...

The biggest mistake a German tourist can make is to ask for directions to the old city center in Rotterdam (which the nazis completely destroyed in 1940).
