Anyone use Iris 2 by Izotope? I am thinking of biting on the last day of a nice deal for it. Crossgrade (for owners of any Izotope product) on Audiodeluxe (for members) is only $125, and the usual price is about $300, probably less on Audiodeluxe.
Would love to know if anyone thinks this synth/sampler is worth it; as I don't really have a lot of synths (not that I use them extensively), and thought it would be  nice boost for creativity in less typical ways for me.
Thanks for any feedback.

I have and use quite extensively Iris 1 - when 2 came out it seemed almost  a retrograde step backwards, so saw no reason to upgrade. My Iris 1 still does everything I want, so I have still not upgraded - not sure I will.
But Iris 1 is great - as I said,  no real experience in Iris 2 but if it comes with all the sound sets (I seemed to remember something about that) then if $125 that sounds a pretty good price - but beware, you have to have a specific use for Iris - it most certainly is niche market and not an everyday synth!
Cheers
Nigel

Thank you. Yes, I agree, and not sure I would use it that much, so I probably will pass since $$$ is tight right now.
Appreciate your insights.

I was sorely tempted by the offer too, but held off.  I tried the demo and liked it, but I already have a lot of synths and I'm trying to resist G.A.S. and instead spending more time learning using what I already have better.... then i can get more!
