You played this fantastically and struck an emotional chord with me.

I love this Janet... I'll bet Scotty's fiddle would sound good with this too...

I came back on headphones..... it sounds better in cans than it did on the speakers....

That lower bass note gets a bit repetitive.... and boring... and at the end.... I would not drop it's volume....

Very nice playing and composition janet. I could see this working well in a film situation to set a mood. The piano did sound a little harsh attimes on my speakers, but not overly so. Nice work.

Just lovely, Janet.  You may only need to adjust the velocities of the low notes to tame them, but they didn't bother me.  Fine performance.

I quite enjoyed that the bass does growl a little in places but it works.  Thanks for sharing

Robby, is this any better?

Thanks Eko. You're right.

Thank you, James, and happy new year to you too! Take care of yourself!

Thanks a lot, Ben!

Thanks Paulo.  I just brought down the velocities even more, and especially on the left hand.  Thanks for the tip.  Also, I just changed the free download option yesterday.  Last month alone I had 67 free downloads.  I figured if I'd charge 75 cents for them, I could retire in 50 years instead of 100.  ;)

Herb, I hadn't heard that song in years.   Weird.  I don't use HPF cause I don't understand them yet...just use the Sonitus (and O4) eq.

Thanks James. Yeah, I probably should have picked another title because it's not what I had in mind for that picture either.  Oh well.  Thanks for the tip on the stereo spread. I think I've got that fixed now.

Thanks so much, Scott.  That means a lot. :)

Thank you too Frank.  Yeah, Scott's fiddle sounds superb just about everywhere. :)

Thanks Ed.

Herb, funny that it sounds better in cans.  This is one of the few I've ever listened to and mixed totally with the speakers cause I've been home alone all week.  Probably lost all frame of reference.  Sorry it bored you.  Don't listen again. :)

Thank you, Blipp.  I hope the piano's better now.

Thanks Lynn.  :)  I adjusted them all. Again. :)

Thanks Wookiee.  The bass is supposed to be an important part of it but I probably needed to tame it more than I did.  Too much to listen for while mixing. At least for me.
Thanks again everyone.  I really appreciate your ears! :)

Lovely piece, Janet.  Sounded swan-like to me.

Yeah.....either that or people just won't download it ;)
