I saw that I can get the full version of R-Mix for $20...my question is how much different/full-featured is it than the SONAR edition that was bundled in X2? I just want it to remove some studio background noise. Thanks!

First problem is it's only 32 bit...but will work.
There was another thread about this, and many
bought it...I couldn't find it, as the "search" options
are pretty useless..

I'm fooling with it now. The disk I got won't be read, so I downloaded the demo, but can't see how to add the serial number. I tried to register it at Roland and it says the S/N, which was on the back of the disk holder is bogus! I am working with Sweetwater now to see what the hey..

What I like about the full version is the pitch and tempo controls.  It's easy to change either one while the song is playing. It also some FX (delay, compressor, rev) and some noise canceling presets (hiss, hum, A/C, wind).

I've found it to be good at zeroing in on whatever you want to remove but, unless the noise is pretty isolated, you also remove something you'd rather keep.  That isn't unique to R-Mix, though.  $20 is a good deal.  The disk I got from Sweetwater didn't work,  so they got Roland to send me a disk that did work.
