True, there are things far worse than using bad grammar.  Listening to rap for example.

I think you misspelled "the gated snare", Craig

I used to have a good grammar. Sometimes, people asked me if I had a great grammar. I'd just say, "Well, I think so, but I don't like to brag. Besides, I wouldn't want her to start gettin' all uppity."

I often see the word "worse" used incorrectly whereas they should be using "worst".

"worse" is used when comparing two of something. One is worse than the other one.
"worst" is used when comparing three or more of something. One is the worst of the three or more.

Let's put it this way. When I was 5 or 6, she and I would watch the Lawrence Welk show on their black and white TV. Other than that, I don't think anyone ever dared ask her for her age. Well, they never asked a second time. Whenever anyone asked my grandfather for that info, he'd suddenly have somewhere else to be.

Every Christmas eve, my grammar seems to get in some altercation when too much egg-nog is involved.

Germany, 1942. Hitler is being updated on the latest productivity figures.
"Sir, we are mining too many useless ores."
*Hitler rubs chin* "So mine less."
[Grammar Nazi busts in] "MINE FEWER"
[Hitler looks up] “Yes?"

I'm shocked at how many people are substituting "of" for "have" these days, e.g. "I shouldn't of done that."

That's the one that really irritates me. My own daughter does it, and I cringe.

That is, literally, the worst thing ever. You know? It's like, literally, worse than using the word Literally when you really mean Figuratively. Literally.
