This was released a few years ago. Nice but ToneBoosters or Waves does just as well & cheaper.

WLM certainly isn't cheaper retail, nor does it have the "histogram" feature.

Toneboosters is cheaper...but you loose a lot.

I have a free one called "LUFSMeter" that does an ok job...with history and it 
was free...

I never needed a histogram feature but if I ever needed deeper results WLM has a select real or off Time CSV log files
IMO Waves Plus is nicer in so much that it has which has a peak limiter & auto function built in.

TB's ebuloudness does have real time analysis.
I have used that freebie too but it has issues.

I like the WLM...I was REALLY tempted by the sale...
But let it go...I swore off of Waves...so am staying away.

I'm REALLY p i s s e d that I didn't buy LM Correct Stereo for $99...
I'm keeping my eyes open for the ones that I'd like to have most...
Nugen VisLM-H is high on my list...

BTW - I could have picked up WLM for $107 at PluginDiscounts
during the sale...it was REALLY hard not to buy it...
 

For that price? Buy Sound Forge :P. Just load you stuff up in that and use its meters, and all its other functions.

Many of them have True Peak Limiters built in, so they are not "just meters".
A good True Peak Limiter, i.e. Nugen ISL2, will run you $200 plus...

So there's more to it then just "meters"...

But SF is a good tool....

Larry or myself pay $400.00 or full retail for meters- don't think so!

I also like Melda's MMultiAnalyzer, it does several things nicely. Cubase has a nice LUFS meter built into it's control room.
I got WLM with Mercury so I'm covered. They're handy whatever you have.

But SF is a good tool....

With version 11 it got true peak EBU 128R compliant meters, and the ability to give you a loudness log. That's why I slag the cost of meters like this, because it has similar meters and loudness logging, but is also a full blown editor.
 
Not trying to sell it as the One True Solution(tm) just that I find the asking price of those rather out of whack, given that you can get meters and more for the same price.
