@evadianepug, To be honest I did actually play around with adding more lead sounds etc, but everything just took something away from the original catchy idea. So I thought that considering I usually just overcomplicate things by adding too many different sounds and harmonies, I should instead just keep it stripped back and focus on the original catchy bass line idea instead. And it's not often enough that I come up with a hook which is actually simple and catchy enough to carry the whole track on its own, so I just didn't want to ruin that. @greekmac7, Thanks so much. I was really hoping to appeal to a wider audience with this in exactly the same was as you said. It's kind of a club track that hopefully anyone can enjoy. I'm really glad that you liked it :)

Sounds good and punchy Ali, bet it would go down a storm in a club.

The mix was great. Instruments sounded great. Liked the girl's voice. A bit redundant, though. Needs more variety, IMO.

So in the end I just decided to keep it quite minimal. Normally I make my tracks too fussy anyway, so I didn't want to ruin this one with too many different sounds.

Sounds like it would work well in the right environment but it does get a bit similar just some gloss and ear candy would make a big difference.  That long voice could do with a little sweep and some LFO speed variation, just the opinion of a furry eared alien.

Creative use of effects. Not my genre, but it seems to work fine. I would have gone a bit easier on the reverb on the vocals in spots. Mix is good.

Ali, Nice start for a bigger thing. Seems to need a bit more happening in it and is a bit, well repetitious to a degree. I'm sure you know what your looking for and maybe this is it. It isn't my genre, so I can only give my opinion, not that its worth anything. Nice clean sound work though. Play around with a few other instrumentation samples and see what you come up with.
