A few weeks ago I was watching one of those Anderton blindfold tests and the Studio really stood out nicely against the rest of them - sonically, I actually liked it better than the Standard, as far as I could tell from listening someone else play it on YT...
 
Binding and all is nice and if I were rich, maybe I'd have one of those fancy Les Paul Custom. 
 
But for playability and sound, I really can't complain. And there's a charm to the simplicity. Did I mention I love those Kluson Deluxe tuners? :P

A few weeks ago I said that I'd rather buy an Epiphone and upgrade parts such as pickups and tuners, but you made the wiser choice for the same amount of money.
