is this a good deal or what?
i am thinking of buying it.
when i listen to the samples the only thing that i can say is that it need some more reverb to sound like the more expencive packs. but im not good in this. just a beginner. bought Komplete Ultimate to get some orchestra. but they sound fake.

I have worked with and own most of the high dollar so-called state of the art orchestral libraries and can tell you honestly that nothing out there gives you the "REAL" sound of a genuine orchestra. I would visit the web pages and listen to as many sound examples as possible and find one that is sonically to your liking and fits your budget. I would not even consider the realness factor because it just is not there yet. We can always wait and hope, though.

Thanks guys. I bought this one. With this and Komplete 10 I think I got a good combo. You have to learn using it too right? And I'm kinda new to this, tho I worked on recording home many years ago. I need to learn programming "realistic" strings and other orchestral. Any tips on how to learn how to? Any YouTube or something video you recommend?

Thinking of getting this before the deal runs out. Already got Omnisphere 2 and looking for some good strings and brass, would this make a good combo? Thanks.

Here are a number of resources that can help. Not all are solely related to strings, but the first 2 orchestration videos are just strings. The tutorials are not free, but IMHO worth the price.
