So this is where you've been the past few months!

Nothing more to add than this is just so much goodness and it was undeniably so much work, it must have been a huge labor of love to undertake. It is so pro-sounding, pro-performed, pro-mixed. The guitar work is simply unbelievable.

Take a bow.

I have always loved this song and you have certainly done it justice even if it is a bit slower than the original version. I love all that you did here. It's a project that you can be proud of.

Philip, sharke - thank you

Lynn - That's cool - I was born in Topeka, mom went to KU.  I have a strong connection to that part of the world.

chasmcg - Thanks!

James - Thanks a lot - yeah a labor of love.  I've done these Kansas songs in hopes to one day present them to the writer - Kerry Livgren.  I considered Song For America at first but way too complicated and too many time signatures.  So I said forget it.  Later it became a challenge.  Originally I orchestrated with GPO, but once I got into it GPO just wasn't cutting it.  So I bought EWSO and EW Solo Violin.  Took me a couple months to re-orchestrate it.  Every volume / timbre / articulation had to be painstakingly reworked.  That took the longest time.  I did the same re-work on Dust In The Wind, The Wall and Carry On My Wayward Son.

Kev, Scotty, Old55 - thank you!
