Excellent work, Pedro.  Most impressive from my perspective.  Others may have some tips for you on the mix and so on, but my focus is always on content, and yours was just terrific.  I like songs that have something to say, and yours definitely had something to say.  It's not a novel message, but it's well stated, and is particularly well served by the video you put together for it.  I'm really glad I went for that instead of the audio only version.  Really interesting stuff going on with the synths on that track too... loved it.  Like I said: excellent.

Thanks Mr. Philz , your comment really means a lot to me, I understand that i still have a long way to go when it comes to mixing and mastering, and these interactions only help us go above and beyond in that never ending seek for "the perfect sound".

Thanks,

Pedro

I like this. Right from the first note. At first, I thought I might like some reverb on the upper octave vocal track (or the lead too) but as time went on... I am not so sure. I would have to hear it. I find the mix a little lacking in dynamics and it is very cold. By cold I mean it has too much high-midrange. Lead guitar is rather sharp and piercing. Great work on the song. If you work on the mix more, I will gladly listen again.

Thanks foxwolfen for your input,I´ve followed your comments and made some changes on the mix , increased the reverb on vocals, cut on the mhr freq. and some eq on the lead guitars.

Young Shad has highlighted some points which are very valid, for me the kick needs a little more snap and punch.

Thanks for sharing, sure some other folks here will give you the pointers you are looking for.

It is tough to gauge this song. I keep finding that my first impressions change after about 30 seconds and then I just like the way it sounds and flows. But. It sounds to me like you have lost a bit of volume on the upper octave vocals, which I miss. I agree with wookie that the bottom end needs some punch. Guitar could still come back a bit (or the bottom end up to balance it). The mix is a bit narrow. Oh, and the end of this upload is cut off. Like I said, I really like this song.

I think it sounds really good.  I really like the song and the groove.  Cool synth on the opening.  Vocals are superb - very well performed and recorded.  There is something about the vocals that seems not to gel with the rest of the mix.  Like they are too upfront, maybe they need a little reverb.  Same with the guitar solo - maybe add a delay?  Drums are really good.  Excellent song.

Excellent song Pedro, love the guitar work on this, set against the synths. Agree with Geno's comment about the lead voc, it does seem a little dry in the mix.
