Excellent piece!  Expertly recorded and performed.  Intense / complex chord voicings and progressions - very cool.  The drummer sounds like he is playing a real set, but only fingers?  What drum module does he use?  I like the sound of the kick.  Love the guitar tones and the sax and guitar sound great together.

David uses cutom kits that he's created from the various kits available for Superior Drummer.  The downside of intermingling kit pieces is that the room mics are not available, so the original audio that he sent me was bone dry.  Hopefully I've done a passable job of selling the illusion of ambient miking.

I'd say you did a great job creating that illusion.

Excellent stuff, great composition, great playing and very slick and warm production. I wish I could get my bass to sit so well in the mix.

Btw your guitarist Ray Ferretti reminds me somewhat of the jazz playing of Paul Stacey who played with saxophonist Tommy Smith for a while. Love the notes he plays.

Great playing and a really nice song! I heard Mr Almario in sweden for like 20 years ago, lovely musician! For your next project, try to get Abe Laboriel on bass as well... ;)

I agree!  I assumed if you hired one you automatically got the other .

I saw Justo's name and about flipped.  He's an Awesome Saxophone and Flute player.  He is the reason I wanted to learn to play sax.  He's incredible on soprano sax and that's where I started my journey (LOL!) on soprano saxophone.
