I'm working on recording one of my all-time favorite songs from DONNIE IRIS. It's called "Ah Leah" and is a straight forward rock tune with some amazing vocal tracks.

PROBLEM:
Starting at 1:36, there seems to be a time signature change. I just can't seem to figure it out. I've tried counting 2/4, 3/4, 5/4 ... but keep on loosing the one. Is there someone out there that can put an ear on this thing? Would appreciate the help.

In case anyone is wondering about the .de ending, it's Germany. That's where I live ...

it stays in 4/4 ..............  no time or tempo change in there at all. 

snare sounds like it pretty much stays on 2 & 4 like it was before that part. 

the musical groove changes briefly but on the guitar solo it returns to the groove it started with. 

The drums change up a bit from what they were doing but the big factor in the perceived timing is in the other instruments and what they are doing.

Yep, 4/4 all the way through.

This is a good song and video.  There are no tempo changes.

you can find the midi drums via google. I googled "Donnie Iris ah leah midi" and several sites came up. you might give that a try, I have found drums before, they worked pretty well.

Solid 4/4 and tempo throughout.  Ah ah's might be doing triplets and throwing you off.

Rimshot reporting for duty.  Agree with all the above.

A 4/4 beat and Flams makes it sound different , its still played in 4/4 time between , snare , bass and highhat .
