wonder what they'd been up to :)

99.9% of software emulations cost a good deal less than the original hardware that inspired them. But strangely, stompbox emulations routinely buck that trend. I'll bet the plugin costs more than I paid for the real unit back in the day, which was, IIRC, about $30.

EDIT: Just checked my email, and yup, the emulation will be going for 50 bucks. Still not a bad price, though. The demo version will be posted this Friday.

I would be surprised if D16 Group doesn't put this on sale within the next six months.  They routinely have decent sales and I'd expect to see it available for around 30 bucks when on sale.  I'm a big fan of D16 stuff.  I got the entire six-effect Silverline bundle for 60 bucks, if I recall correctly.  I'm hoping that they will take their new dual-size interface capability for the new flanger and retrofit it to the other Silverline plug-ins.

Yeh, I got that same deal during the big group buy a few years ago. That was definitely one of my best hauls ever. Even if I only use 4 of the 6, and even if I have to use a magnifying glass to read the UI. Redopter in particular has been a mainstay.

I was hoping the adopt the fab filter discounting scheme ;-)

no doubt it'll get discounted for xmas for sure. them and psp and fab filter have a knack of making things I don't have to over qualify to buy, programming / dsp wise anyway.

I have the multi delay and lush, very happy with both.

Good news! You can knock off 20 EUR if you already own at least 5 Silverline plugins. So those of us who bought all 6 back in the last group buy can get the new plugin for $26.

I'm now actually considering picking this up, after initially feeling zero interest in yet another flanger. But it might be different than other flangers you've already got.

For example, you can run it in M/S mode. Seems like everything's got an M/S mode now, but who'd have thought that flangers were a candidate for Mid/Side processing? You can also process Left and Right independently, and presumably Mid and Side as well.

Another selling point, especially for D16 plugins, is a larger UI.

OTOH, the discounted price of $26 is exactly the same as this week's sale price for Meldaproduction's MMultiBandFlanger.

I'll probably end up getting it for the sake of completionism, the rest of silverline is so great. I use Audiodamage Liquid which is very nice, but this new one looks much more well-featured.

Now that I've had a chance to hear the demos, I've decided to pass on this one. I don't know what I was expecting, but - surprise! - it's just a flanger.

Yeah, same here...

Still chasing the Holy Grail of a clear stereo flanger and was spending sleepless nights waiting for the release.

Went thru the demo.  A quality unit for sure as are most of the d16 stuff is.

In the end though, just another flanger. Will pass this one by.

Demo is there for the download.
