I bought the melda bundle, a while back.. as partly I like their update policy. some of their things are good, but not as good as other things e.g. psp rotary model , they do one that is decent enough, but the psp I prefered, but didn't buy it

funny how makers to thru phases of making fx units. .e.g the black / white compressor everyone and their dog was making emulations of.

Surprised nobody responded that this was the etherial zenith endpoint of all flangers.

Have an old but well preserved Electric Mistress hardware unit from decades ago. Mint condition.

Haven't fired up the hardware for 30 years, but have a vague imprint that the d16 unit is about cool and a real replication, with some new tweeks not available in the stomp without tearing the metal casing off.

Has some enhanced stereo separation, but way short of the mark.

Derailing this, but my rig got echo. Got reverb, got amp sims and distortions, got compressors and eq's.

Only ghosts I'm chasing are a credible stereo blast of phase, flange, chorus.

d16 doesn't cut it.

Any recommendations?

ValhallaDSP's UberMod is my first-call go-to for chorus, although I have several second-string backups (D16 Syntorus, TAL Chorus) in case UberMod doesn't fit. Unless it's vocals or organ, in which case it's always the aged Kjaerhus Classic Chorus.

UberMod also does phasing and flanging, doubling, echoes and reverb.

Bit,

Thanks for the reminder. Had drifted away for awhile from Valhalla but do remember some nice stereo chorus and flange effects.
