If there's one thing this forum has taught me, and it has taught me much. It is that different people will hear and perceive the same piece differently. I listened again this AM and notice it less. But the singer has a low timbre and there are a few places where it feels like it's resonating? Specifically, in the lower passages, i.e., In the very beginning "the low notes. Without the ability to download it and sweep I can's say the specific frequencies I'm hearing.  I don't here it in the higher passages. 

And automation on a song with lots of dynamics "is your friend." :-)

Hi James - thank you so much and I am glad you liked it.  I did write and sing and played all the parts (even a live snare drum roll into the chorus).  I need to get away from the song for a couple of weeks and come back fresh and really consider these great points you and others have made.  

This truly is a great song writer's forum from my perspective.  

Robbie - I was this singer and I am a borderline tenor/barritone and yes my voice does resonate (they tell me that alot at work!).  I agree I have to work more with the vocal automation.  Thanks again for your insight.

As far as christianity goes i'm what would be called a hethen, and this is a million miles away from any of the styles of music i like.

That said, i admire your musicianship and arrangement skills very much.
