Early this morning I tried to answer this for myself but could not find where the path was even set.

There is no "Path" for Play Libraries...that's all accomplished from the "Browser"
which, to me, is silly....if they are going to do that then there should just be ONE
"Play" icon on the Start menu, since ALL interfaces are really tied to the selected "Library"

Instead, you have 400 Icons that open where ever you last left off ...
and you have to navigate the Browser to get to the Library you want...
but it does give you the Library Interface that you have selected.

Kinda dumb....but, hey, what do I know...

The only thing that you CAN set is a "Default" interface...

bapu- Yes, you can put the Play libraries in multiple locations, you just have to link their location in the browser. What I did was copy the library to the new location, right-click on the library in the Play browser and choose "Set Product Library Directory" and then choose the "instrument" folder. Then I deleted the folder in the old location. In this way you can put any library anywhere you want. You don't have to use the copy method, I just like testing before I screw anything up :)

cclarry- I use shortcuts on the desktop rather than the start menu for opening any of my frequently used apps. I actually have them in folder- Audio...Video, etc. From there I have subfolders such as Sony, Cakewalk, etc. My East West folder has the CC Installation app shortcut and one Play shortcut. The default interface will always come up but you can change it from the Browser to any instrument you want.

Cool. My Composers Collection came on a 1TB drive with about 200GB free.

I've used that up with the two new Pro Drummer libs and another lib as part of my Composer Cloud but I'm thinking I'd to move all composer cloud libs to another drive.

I have another 1TB drive totally free(empty).

That's the plan now.

Yes - you can have the Libraries in any locations(s) you want...
you just navigate to them from the browser...didn't think that was the
question...
