MDrummer and BFD3 . . . there is no comparison, as far as I'm concerned BFD has no equal as yet, I have all the big players and then some, even the new ew Pro Drummer, although I didn't install it on either of my main machines. I prefer BFD for sound, 'feel', interface, the whole package really. There are some awesome expansions available.

You should install ProDrummer and give it whirl...it is right up there with BFD 3 IMO...it
sounds pretty amazing, and having the SSL Channel, Ohmicide, and the SSL Bus Comp built it is
quite the added bonus..

Yeah I did install it, just not on either of my main machines, I don't really put anything on them that I am not certain is going to stay, despise installing then uninstalling, most things don't uninstall cleanly, the only thing I have unistalled off either of them in the last 18 months or so since I built them has been Rapture Pro, p***ed off about that :) such high hopes . . . ,plus I don't let anything iLok near them, not really anything iLok, just iLok itself and Pace stuff etc in general. For something that has been in production since before Noah built the Ark, and all ew's blurb's about it, and the price, it was a little bit of a let down, it has joined the rest in the drum vst's graveyard.

For me it is still BFD/BFD3, I look forward to the day something will come along and topple it, because that will be something to behold, but I have the funny feeling it will be BFD4 :)
