  • Sample Logic's Cinematic Guitars Infinity is better than I thought...

I have to say that I am very disappointed that it doesn't seem possible to use either Cinematic Guitars 1 or 2 with the new interface of CG3  wrong... it's in the "soundcore browser, at least most of the ones I've tried to find.   They are all separate products with their original aging GUIs... Also, the "Infinity" engine doesn't seem to allow access to any of the Cinematic Guitars (1,2 or 3 ) This is a huge disappointment as the Infinity engine is quite nice but it is ridiculous that it can't access the 20 something GBs of actual GUITARS in CG1-3

The most attractive feature for me was my understanding that I would be able to use all the old samples (which I already owned!!!) in the new advanced and more powerful GUI. I guess I can...

As it stands, there is no improvement to CG1/2 at all. I wish they would have ported the new CG3 interface to CG 1&2 but Joe Trupiano didn't give any info, aside from compatibility.

All in all this is quite a beast, using a different more powerful "multi-" like system that'll stomp your cpu in the dirt as up to 8 different "patches" can be loaded into the four cores for one instance of infinity at a time.

Sleep deprivation from Heavy Gravity stomping my brain to Infinity has been fun for the last couple days.
