Omitting key-important reports is common. You do know that article would cause a lot of upset for relatives who seen first-hand as witness to the trauma after losing a child to multi-vaccination. 
 
Luke was 5 when he got very ill immediately after receiving multi-vaccination, he was admitted to emergency care but died.  
 
The coroner said, it was a one in a million, the multi-vaccination caused his death.  If Luke survived? The doctor said he would have permanent severe brain damage.
 
I also have a doctor's report who clearly stated his reasons not to vaccinate 'due to high risk'.
 
What a lot of people should know is; Everyone has different tolerances to medications/vaccinations e.g. allergies, side-effects, some people can die.  The FDA lists Warning/Alert notices on many medications, yet those medications are still available.  There are risks with all medical procedures (medications) --- unfortunately that message had not been conveyed, therefore it is much easier to omit than to tell a lie.

Of course, medical treatment of any kind carries a risk. People have died in the dentist chair, or during routine surgery. But you have to offset these "one in a million" cases against the lives saved by vaccinations. Here, for example, is info on the number of vaccine preventable deaths from June 3, 2007.

Of course the many out weigh the few "one in a million" however, in my opinion is still unacceptable because some pharmaceutical corporations appear to not be bothered to do enough (progress) to dramatically lower that number over the past few decades.  Yearly... "One in a Million" may seem like a small number by Australian statistics (Population: 24 million) - Worldwide that's equates to a much higher amount of children dead.  Now the stats in regards to children with mild to severe mental disability is no doubt much higher = 1 in 6. You need to watch that video (post #1) because its based on facts.

In another context -- You said/believe there are two sides to the coin but yet again (twice) provided one-sided reports that omits key-important information.  Corporations do this because they don't want to cause alarm (one of the reasons), and ironically you admit of course there are risks.
 
Sadly, I'm concerned there is not much hope in our lifetime, not near enough incentive (progress) to dramatically reduce the number of deaths. Maybe in another 50 years medical science will finally catch up and all will be fine..... Meanwhile, its business as usual.

The bottom line is vaccination saves millions of lives a year and has to be weighed against infant mortality rates which were horrifying before.

It should be noted that the fellow who's "research" is consistently cited when linking autism to vaccination was actually producing his own, competing, vaccines and that research has been thoroughly debunked... over and over and over again.
 
Seriously the guy got caught fudging his numbers simply to be the one making the big vaccination bucks... and IIRC his round of vaccines were substandard and not fit for release into the public.
 
That is not to say one should not be wary when taking medication of ANY kind (including "natural" or "holistic" remedies) and there certainly is a major issue with a medical system based on profit rather than benevolance but this is how things are done in a capitalist society. Capitalism gets things done but it has it's flaws. It is up to the consumer (in this case the patient or their caregivers) to PROPERLY research and weigh the pros and cons of the product.
 
We have recently seen a resurgence of measles here in Canada and one of the larger outbreaks has been directly linked to an anti-vaccination community in Quebec. Those one in a million horror stories are indeed tragic but the diseases they fight used to KILL and/or MAIM easily in the millions regularly. Herd immunity is crucial.
 
Anyway, this is not intended to offend or demean. I just care about you guys and don't want to see anyone or their loved ones get sick based on a charlatan who was himself trying to promote his own, for profit, vaccinations.

I'll kindly say this again...
 
My nephew 5 is DEAD, he fell very ill shortly after being vaccinated and died later in hospital. The coroners report said. It was a "One in Million", had he survived.... Luke would have severe brain damage.
 
Clearly anyone who has witnessed a child DIE from vaccination would be very upset and never fully get over it.
 
Anyway, it was late when I did that post (now edited), I was very tired, obviously upset and couldn't sleep because your constant reminders ((posts: links)) to sites are reminders of ignorance, insensitivity and corruption.

There are certainly some very bizarre pockets of human dysfunction scattered around and the "laissez faire" attitude seems to allow these things to thrive beyond a reasonable point. It really does pit my inner libertarian against my social responsibility idealism.
 
Like I said... I love QC but it is simply too crazy for me to ever consider living there. It's a shame it seems to have run you off from Canada because obviously that is not representative of the entire country... and I've been coast to coast. I mean it's all crazy but it's not all THAT crazy. lol

I'm truly sorry about your nephew, that's a horrible thing to happen. But so is dying of an illness which you can be vaccinated against with an extremely low risk. Life is all about measured risk, and comparing the number of people for whom vaccinations go wrong against the number who die of not being vaccinated is a valid way of measuring that risk. And everything points towards not being vaccinated being a bigger risk than being vaccinated.
