There were requests on the last song I posted, to hear me actually play the instuments. So I decided to put something together for your listening enjoyment. I'm primarily a guitarist by trade but play a bit of keyboards from time to time. I played the electric piano and bass on this one. The drums are soft synths. The bells are midi driven from the keyboard and generated through the roland soft synths. I'm not really into this style of music but I thought something on the cooler side might be appropriate for this time of year.

Very chill. Enjoyable to listen too. Would work well in a comedy spy film or movie like Oceans 11 (12/13).

It's too robotic sounding for this style (turn off quantize and learn to play). You also need to work on the production values. It's very thin sounding and your patch selections sound like they came from the 80's. Musically it's a decent jazz segment. Needs more parts and movement though.

Hope this helps.

Well done.  You've mastered the art of incomplete songs.

Pete, you have been proven to be either a complete joke (if this is indeed the best you can do), or the biggest jerk on this forum (more likely, you know your stuff but you enjoy just screwing around with us).

Either way, congratulations.

Yeah, you may want to lose the Dr. Rhythm drums....the hats exploding so loud in the beginning were a dead give-away. I would think a man of your prowess and incrediblt sh!t talking would have better resources than these. The haas effect on the entire mix sounds terrible.

Where's the Dumble oh great guitarist? Here's a lesson for you in "cliche" and "too many notes". Don't be jealous...people pay me good money to learn to play like this. It's a style and an art. Here's your first lesson. I'll continue to post them until you get a clue...so watch this space.
