Here is the first scene of the next video I'm working on.
Originally I was not going to include any live action but after thinking about it I think I might add live action seen as if it is a reflection in the glass of the gazebo.

This should have been easy but I seem to have a knack for making things difficult. LOL

Looks very nice, love the scrolling clouds (strongest point in the scene), although IMO they should be scrolling horizontally. My only other minor crit are the mountains, they could use improvements (more natural looking texture)!

I've been working with Bryce and use my own custom texture created in Photoshop. Bryce is pretty good but has some limits, I would like to get Vue Espirit with addon for importing animated 3D characters (with editable regions/joints). I also use Poser and DAZ3d. What I've done so far is to build an exterior and interior of a spaceship with 3D characters. I also built a large city (that takes up a lot of memory lol) all the buildings and textures had to be created piece by piece. Yet still I have a heck of lot more to do, its very difficult getting everything just right.

Thanks for the input Songcraft. Do you see the video imbedded or did you have to past the link? I ask because I only see the code  "[tube]link[/tube]"

You can't use the secure protocol (https) in your inline YouTube link.  Try it without like this:

Very nice render by the way (oh yeah, and my birthday sometimes falls on the Winter Solstice!).  What are you using for this?

Ok Songcraft I have it fixed now.

In regards to your comments. I have had to deal with my perfectionism and learn to let things go and move on. Then I use what I learn to improve the next thing. In this case the mountains covered with snow is just a material. I have a different material to use when they are not covered that will be a blend of greens, brown and grey with the snow only at the top of the highest peaks.

Still not a lot of detail in the mountains and I have used a compositor to blur the mountains to give a sense of distance.
