This is my take on 'Muskrat Love' written by Willis Allen Ramsey (he said I could do it). Yea, the same one done by captain and tenille which is pretty schmalzy. Willis's version is the real deal.

Anyway this is my smooth jazz rendition.

Man Tim - this is really great - you make Captain and Tenille look bad. You've got the smooth jazz thing down nicely - love this.

I too lust after fuzzy things... But there's nothing cute whatsoever about a muskrat... They are nasty rodents! I do like your song though. Your talent is impressive.

Hi Tim,

It's been awhile since I have been contributing here.  I always loved your songs/production.  This one is stellar.  I am using Equator D5's in my newly acoustic foamed room and your mix sounds stellar.  I love the feel.
I have a lot of catching up to do.

Great job.  Wishing you much success on the album.  I am going to check out other cuts.

I kept waiting to hear that "Carlton string bend", sounded like an arrangment he would do.  This is really a nice mix.  Good melodic phrasing, stayed with and around the melody just enough.  I like this a lot Tim!  Very pretty.

Thanks Mark,  Glad you likey. I think making them look bad is a pretty easy task, no:)

Fuzzy things usually turn out OK Robbay. eh? Possums ain't much purtier.
Thanks.

Sultry's good Mr. Ed. Me like's sultry. Casual but not too bold. Thanks Ed.

Hey Rimshot . Nice to see you back. Thanks for the listen and nice comments.
Not familiar with the Equator D5s. I find it pretty easy to make something sound good on studio monitors. It's everything else that baffles me usually:)

Thanks Daryl. Ha.. OK, were there any Carlton string bends? I forgot:)
Actually, I put a copy of my CD right in Larry's hand, so, i guess he didn't like it (or, most likely it just became a frisbee....) Thanks

Hey Bob. Thanks man. Lovin all your new rockin stuff.

That's gorgeous Tim, what a lovely arrangement and production, so warm and clear. Sounds fantastic through my headphones, all those details popping up around the stereo image..great stuff.

Tim, that is superb!  You are one of the best, and your mixes are a showcase for what can be done with Sonar.  This mix has warmth, clarity, and great dynamics.  Very inspirational.
