After several hours of hard work (to say this was a one-day work), I came up with this today. How's it sound?

Ya. Ok, not bad. Not bad. It is the right flavour. It needs to be hit harder... this is my only crit. I don't know if you know what I mean, but I by that I mean it has to slap me in the face. Dubstep is hard HARD core. I compared it to Scandinavian Death Metal for a reason. Dynamics are critical. Its not about loudness, its about velocity. "Da! Da! D!D!D!D!D!D DA! DA!" - bang bang bang... ya feel me? [JMO - others may disagree]

Every time I hear a tune called dubstep, I hear something radically different.  Maybe it's an acquired taste, and I'm not quite getting it.  Yet, I like this song because it's a cool synth sound that I don't have in my arsenal.  It plays well after several listens which translates to a good mix.  But, the Fox knows more about this than I do.

Interesting, but I Like your quirky vocal tunes better...

I absolutely love "Reply", "Bonafide Nerd", "Flutter By", "Let The Party Rock"  and "Rain (go away)... That is great song writing...

Cool track man. The drums need to be thicker to really be a dubstep track. Read up on compression and don't do it wrong.

Also I would probably consider taking out the bass at some point. A lot of dubstep tracks are focused around the contrast between the parts with no bass and the parts with bass.

I listened to this since my son is wanting me to help him create some "dubstep" in some of his songs, and I'm not quite sure where to go with it. Your stuff has some of the sounds he wants, like the wubs, but I'm not sure how to accomplish that, exactly. Any help would be appreciated. As far as the song goes, its not as "edgy" for lack of a better word, or dynamic, as stuff from the likes of Skillex, but maybe that's not what you were going for. Good overall.

In dubstep, usually the wobbles don't come in until about 1min into the song. It's sort of like that genre's version of the Chorus or payoff.

Drums in general do need to be alot bigger as well.

Do those two things and you may have a pretty cool dubstep song!
