Are you updating Richard, I'm getting a "sorry no such song" error ?

"The song tempo is 126 BPM and I couldn't play the part that fast.  I recorded the piano  in chunks at 120 BPM and of course edited my sloppy fingerings"

Oh. My. Goodness!  You slowed it down SIX WHOLE BPM??!!!  Heresy!    


Sheesh....I don't care what you did...it's great playing and some really cool licks.

Found it Richard. Awesome job on vocals and production. Total pro sounding.

For some reason it cuts out quickly not sure if it's the file or my SC player.

I'm not sure why you're having problems listening to the song.  It seems to be playing fine on my end.  However, Soundclick was acting screwy yesterday. 
 
Also, an update is forthcoming.  Frank was gracious enough to send over his guitar tracks.  I've been out most of the day today and hopefully I'll post the update this evening.

Beautiful song and beautifully sung.  My 2 cents would be that since there was such a short segment with bass and drums, I think you could have done some strings with the piano and maybe a cello or something and no beats or bass.  Rich, that's what I was hearing but it's only an opinion.  You've always been one of my favorite singers and still are.

I am glad to see that you stopped by to listen to the song.  I completely understand what you are saying about the ending being such a short segment.  I felt it makes such a bigger impact to the culmination of the lyrics at the end.  But that's just another opinion .
 
BUT, I do like your idea about strings.  I think Cello would be a great addition through the second verse.  Hmmmm. . . . . . maybe another time.

I apologize.  I had issues updating the soundclick file yesterday and ended up deleting the song and then recreated it.  In the process I forgot to update the first link.  It should all be working now.  Sorry about the confusion.

Gorgeous - Rich - this is really so nice - you just seen to be at a different level than most - I just loved this.

New version is up featuring Frank on Guitar.  I can't say enough having Frank contribute to this song.  Many many thanks Frank!
 
Frank's guitar part really solidified the ending of this song.
