Spending a Friday evening alone in the studio with an adequate supply of Mexican beer leads to all kind of funny things.
 
This one came out of nowhere last night and, even though it's in the same ball park as the stuff my wife and I are working on, I wasn't going to take it any further. But I needed to get it out of my system. So I decided that I was going to have it all wrapped up and encoded in iMovie before my wife picked me up to go out after work.
 
So there you have it - a rough cut that won't even make it to proper demo stage, not mixed, with mistakes, bad edits and all. 
 

 
I know there's a forum for songs, but I'm not looking to improve this one or anything. It's just a silly snapshot of my Friday evening.

I didn't know that song - I can dig it. I'm not really familiar with him, I think I heard one of his songs in one of Rowan Atkinson's movies, secret agent stuff. Liked it as well.

I like how in a year he went from "Me and My Shadow" (on his previous album) to "Me and My Monkey." LOL.
 

Sounds great to me, mixed or not! I get the Kids In The Hall comparison, same kind of sound. It puts me in mind of Ry Cooder and Manuel Galbán. I think you would like those guys if you don't already.
