Dave, instead of dragging this on while crying me a river............. just build a bridge and get over it. There's always two sides to a story (per Beepster's post).

Where I come from you stand up for yourself no matter what! Unfortunately right or wrong.

It's a very good thing to stand up for yourself, but obviously standing up for what's wrong won't work out.

You won't get an apology from a forum host.

They never make mistakes.

BOB BONE:
I just wanted to apologize to you for any of that sort of thing happening to you, if that was you, or for whatever negative situation you ended up in - folks in a forum can frequently really gang up on someone, instead of trying to really get to the bottom of what might be actually going on that would cause someone to want to post a 'venting' sort of thread.

Seems like an apology to me.

Fair point. Bob's a good 'un.

I should rephrase my comment to "You won't get an apology from some forum hosts".

Apologies to all innocent parties offended by my opinions.

I think Dave needs to go listen to Bill's Tenor Madness jazz link a few times.

@Dave000,

I posted above in an attempt to get to a point where issues you have can get resolved.  If you are willing to engage in resolving those issues, I reiterate that I will do my best to help in their resolution.

For me to be able to do that, I would like to see those issues posted in the appropriate forum for each of the issues, with each issue a separate thread, and as much detail as you can provide for each of those issues.

It seems to me that you indicated above that some/many of your issues may be already posted in the other forums, which is great, but I don't see which ones those are.  I am supposing that they have scrolled down far enough that they are not getting seen.

So, IF that is the case, would you please give each of those existing threads a 'bump' post?  That would bump them all back up to the top of the list, and I - and others - could take a fresh look at them.

It may well turn out that resolution of one or more of your open issues may require Cakewalk Technical Support's involvement, but it is also quite possible that through some cooperative analysis and effort, between you and me and others in the forum community, that we could either resolve some of those - or possibly come up with some sort of workarounds to hold you over until Cakewalk Support can come up with better resolution.

I will be online and bouncing back and forth between working in Sonar and looking at forum threads I can help with, for at least the next 3-4 hours, so if you can locate and bump your issues, or post new ones for any that weren't already out there, we can get started with trying to get you some resolution.

@all forum users - if anyone feels I have posted something in error, please do let me know, and I would be happy to review and respond - whether or not that means providing additional explanation, correcting and apologizing for any mistakes, or whatever is needed - now, let's not all flood me at once here :) - .  I have a so-far perfect track record at being human (I frequently DO make mistakes), and I try to learn from my mistakes anytime I can.

Steve, do you mind if I swipe your toe-tapping kitty pic?  I think that's hilarious, and one of my brothers has a cat that looks just like it (minus the Judas Priest hat).  I LOVE the toe-tapping.
