:-) Yeah drums are perfect now! Good job Fredaaaaaaay! The chicken is now officially "to the bone..." My thoughts on the earth is that it was here before us, and it will be here after we're gone. A lot of people don't even know that it's been both much warmer and much colder in the past than it is today. 50 million years ago it was much warmer than it is today? And nobody drove an SUV...

Here's your future lament buddy...

This one will miss us? (close miss "Friday!") But there's one with our name on it...

And we didn't even know about it "until last year..." That's within 17,200 miles... Close enough for us to "tug it" out of its current orbit. The earth is 25K (just under) in circumference. Our geo-sync satelites are out at 25 thousand miles, so this "visitor" will come between us and our communication satellites. It may be next week, next month, or 1,000 years, but it comes. We live in a cosmic shooting gallery that most are unaware of or choose to ignore :-( And "that" is our real future lament.

Hey Freddy, it's nice to shift gears every so often, and you did so beautifully on this one.  I love socially meaningful tunes, and you definitely nailed a big picture item here.  Vocals, track and BGV's were smooth as silk.  Great job on this one!

THE NIGHT FOX

Freddy sounds good , fills sound just a bit thin for my taste . What drum software are you using for your drum tracks ?

Good one - James

Not a bad one Freddy J.

At first the dry vox was a tad off putting but as I listened I started liking it.

Lyrics man.. print the lyrics.    That great retro feel that is your signature is still evident in this futuristic blues.  Cool background harmonies.  Good tune Freddy.   Daryl

Hey, Freddy,

Very nice job on this well thought out, bluesy number with an important message and some very cool modern mix elements!

I really like the smooth feel of the rhythm chords, the vocals and harmonies are excellent, and I thought the reversed guitar effect was really cool.

You've really been crankin' out some great stuff, Freddy!

Hello Frank:  The second time must be a charm.  Thanks for the listen and kind comments.

Robby:  Thanks again for the heads-up on the drums!!!!

Thank you Phil.  Yes, every once in a while one has to get out of their comfort zone. Thanks again for the kind feedback.

I appreciate your taking the time to listen and for the kind comments.  Thanks Markno999.

Thanks James.  Actually, on this one I was using some drum loops.  Way back in the olden days there was a set of loops called Drag and Drop Drummer.   I think that they were bought out by Smart Loops.  They were a bit thin and I beefed them up (a wee bit) with Camel Crusher but I didn't want too much of an edge on them.  Thanks again.

Hi Bapu!  The vox is very dry.  I was trying to keep a soft touch to this song. This just goes to show that "... the best laid plans ..."  Thank for the feedback.

Hey Daryl.  Oh -- alright --- I added the lyrics above in the initial post.    ;>)    Thanks for taking the time to listen and for the feedback.

Hi Bob.  Thank you my friend.  I appreciate the kind words and feedback.
