It seemed rewarding, to me as a viewer, to get the impression that your video was made with intent.

The work you put into thinking about the shots, the pre production etc. is easy to appreciate.

Thanks for sharing.

Hi Shad, although i do like this also and appreciate you have worked hard on this new version, I prefer the previous attempt as the natural sound affects really added to the overall video.

Mark.

I'm going to agree with Mark above. You've made huge leaps with the new video, really flexed your creative muscles and introduced a raft of techniques, hats off for that.

For me though, the first video had more impact, because of it's simplicity, the sound effects and the minimalist feel of both film and music, which made the ending so affecting.

Yup, me too. Me too. And even that was pretty awful. Ah well... Sigh... doubts are starting to creep in. I think I need to stop kidding myself and recognizing that desire is a long way from talent. I am just embarrassing myself.

I thought that's what this forum was for. No?

No embarrassment at all shad, you should be proud you've tapped into another talent you possess and go with it. I really liked the first video a lot.

What I will say though is you shouldn't really keep deleting your posts, as people take the time to comment as you've requested, and it feels like it isn't worth it if you just delete them?

You are probably right Mark. I don't know any more. I think I need to slow down and not post things until I am satisfied with them. The caveat is I seem to only notice the problems after I post it. Perhaps I am too wrapped up in the process to see the whole picture.

Either that or post things, as ideas? And get ideas from others as to how to improve them? The creative process is not clearly defined or understood, nor is it uniform.
