I have to join the chorus on this one.  There is nothing at all silly or sappy about this number at all.  It is a beautiful piece.  You and I share the same admiration for Peter Green.  I especially liked his early stuff that kept the spirit of the 1950's early electric blues era alive.

Just beautiful guitar. Tone and touch... you have the touch. Sounds really good. It reminds me a little of something from the Bare Trees era Fleetwood Mac... really nice.

This is absolutely beautiful!  I love that gorgeous guitar tone and tasty playing, and the smooth vibe can instantly put the listener into a relaxed state of calmness.
 
To me, the sign of a great piece of music is the ability for a song to change someone's mood or emotions from just one listen, and this sure did it for me!
