I use the one from Toneboosters sometimes. It's in demo mode, but I can't think of a reason to buy the full version. The hornet plugin looks to do less than the Toneboosters version to me, but I'm sure it's nice. I just can't see a reason to pay for it.
 
(I'll edit this and answer my own doubts. It looks like the Hornet plugin will adjust or normalize automatically. That is something the Toneboosters plugin doesn't do and could make this a nice utility to have.)

I have many EBU metering plugins.
Since getting into R128 standards all my source mixes now fall between 23-25 LUFS automatically without the need for strict K-14 or VU metering (as long I gain stage properly.)
I then can adjust & deliver my material for CD (-15 LUFS), Internet Broadcast (Spotify, iTunes-16 LUFS) & now YouTube (-14 LUFS)
 
For those who don't understand or just starting to get into mixing to these standards I'd check this out. (simply because the NORM feature will be a handy aid)

Cubase includes this type of metering already. IMO it should be included in ALL daws by now.
 
 

If the Hornet plugin adjust everything to that level automatically...that will be cool. I use Hornet's VUmeter and Autogain pro on every project.
