Does anyone know of a company that sells 808  bass plugins??/
 
the two I found recently claim they have a plugin and then only sell you wave files-- so much false advertisement

Thanks Nigel, yes the Tru Urban is one of the scams I was talking about.. no plugin just send you a bunch of wave files.. and excuses

It says it's a Kontakt Library - were there no Nki files included in the download?

Is it samples you are after? Or are you wanting a TR-808 drum synth VSTi?

I am wanting a 808 Bass and Drum synth.. no samples- midi files and plugin

Okay, in that case, I can recommend a product called Drumaxx. It is make by Image-Line.
 
It isn't free, but it is a true "synth" and comes with some basic TR-808 sounds. Once loaded you can tweak those sounds to suit your needs, much more than you could do with a real TR-808.
