I was thinking the exact same thing... Just like the real thing 

I had both the keyboard and rack of the BassStation, the keyboard was the first piece of music equipment I bought. It was a great little synth, but a terrible 303 clone. If the software plug in emulates the hardware well, I wouldn't buy it to make 303 sounds.
 
I also had a FreeBass 383, which was analogue and although much closer to at 303 sound, it wasn't there, but it had a great sound, it liked to get nasty.
