I think he/she/they did a real good job of taking the musical / lyrical essence of the original (imaging a better world)  and injecting a bit of spirituality to it.  I never liked the original Imagine, I thought it was a depressing – a bit dark and soulless – void of any real uplifting message.  Personally, I am not a religious person but I do believe the human race has some glorious moments that place us a step above every other animal on this planet. What, if anything that means, I do not know but I would like to think that it does in fact mean something. So, this remake, reconstitution or “version” works better for me, the agnostic.

         I disagree John Lennons song was a big hit then when he released it
         when he was alive and still is today to many people who loved his music
         and lyrics . This guy whoever he is totally ripped his song apart , it
         Sucks and the lyrics he wrote too !
         John Lennon was the best song writer to ever live , ask any well know
         artist he was a genius at creating and writing lyrics .
         This guy whoever he is well what can I say , hes not even on John
         Lennons level of song writing !
