Wow, what a great start to a song. So relaxing and soothing after a long day at work, then builds into a huge masterpiece. This is just superb. I have nothing but praise for it on all levels. Thank you for the privilege of hearing it.

Thank you for the very kind words Shad! This one felt good while I was working on it. Some songs just sort of write themselves.

Dan

That actually comes across while listening, it really sounds almost effortless in terms of composition and arrangement. One of the most satisfying instrumentals I've heard on the forum.

I really enjoyed it Dan, very skillfully done.  Stopped analysing quite quickly and simply enjoyed the music.  That's a good sign!

Can't add anything that hasn't already been said. Thanks for the 5 minutes and 22 seconds of pure enjoyment.

Sounds fine to me... benign neglect is the way to go from here... you've nailed it.

Mixing it was the hardest part. To be honest, I used to dread mixing because I struggled to get the song to sound like I heard it in my head. I've noticed that it's getting easier because of practice and things I've been learning along the way, almost to the point that I'm depressed when I finish mixing and start on a new blank project, LOL.

Once I get a groove going I usually feel better again.

Dan
