Hi Frank,
Been absent from this joint for a little while and so I'm just catching up on what you've been doing and holy crap is it ever good. I did notice a bit of a jagged edge in this one at about 2.5k on the lead guitar...maybe a multiband to just clamp down on that frequency when it starts to stick up? That way you don't lose the bite entirely the way you would with an EQ, it just puts a ceiling on it. It didn't bug me on the Avantones but it did get a bit piercing at times on the Focals.

Beyond that though, the tonal balance and soundstage is just so good. And speaking of which, if you have a minute could you tell me what your bass guitar signal chain looks like? I'd take as much detail as you have time for...what instrument, effects, eq, the works.

Really nice work

Hi Frank ,

real  nice , I very much enjoyed the mix I heard ( 2nd)

hey man , the area of the USA I live in ( Portland Or ) loves this type of Blues

I know cause that's where I'm at now   and this is the genre I gig out playing

I will say , .....it's the same deal as your Panhandle money wise

Nice one Frank. Defiantly have to agree with the Little Feet comment earlier. Also sounds a bit like some of the old Delbert McClinton I used to play. Mix is good here.

Hey, Frank,

Wow, talk about gettin' your mean and nasty, down and dirty funk on!    This is absolutely dynamite.  Killer jamming and a clean, punchy, in your face mix.

Killer stuff, Frank!

Man did you capture the funk on this number.  It is not just funky gumbo but funky  Etouffee, Jambalaya, and all that stuff.  Really excellent work Frank.

Well it's just gone right into MY favourites..wonderful stuff. I would be in hog-heaven to stumble into a bar with a band like this playing. That guitar is alive...

ha, "stumble into a bar"... shouldn't that be the other way around..?
I still play the occasional bar gig, just for the fun of it... problem is,,, it's just not as fun as it used to be... the big band will get together for an event, if the money's right... and we still perform for the odd charity fundraisers... unfortunately the monster U.S. Gov is killing our economy, and our band...
Thanks for the feedback James... btw, I love your new project, and web-site...
