I downloaded and installed (finally) all the free instruments from NI that I didn't already have.  The main one I was excited to get was The Gentleman upright piano.  In the video tutorial on YouTube it shows a pullout section of presets for both instruments and effects yet I can't find either of those.  And the included manual doesn't speak about them or show them either.  What gives?

Does anyone have The Gentleman and know how to access these dialogs?

When you open the Piano, in the Effects box there is a "right arrow - >"
Hit that and the EQ, Compressor, etc...are adjustable.

Same with the Anatomy box...there is a right arrow that opens another dialogue
They are right at the top line of the boxes on the right.

Cheers!

Yup...I know about those.  It's a drop down with a bunch of total instrument presets.  I went back and "freeze-framed" the YouTube video and saw that it was running under "Komplete Kontrol" and not Kontakt in a DAW.  That's probably the answer.  The GUI even looks different.  I'll keep ya posted.

PS:  If you'd like to take a look for yourself the video is entitled The Gentleman Tutorial.

I was right.  I now have a "Komplete Kontrol" standalone software program that "houses" Kontakt Libraries.  So far it works fine on the desktop and indeed there are all The Gentleman presets as in the video.  Next, I guess, is finding out how to implement it in Sonar.  I don't have a "Kontroller" board that pairs with the software so don't know if it works or not inside the DAW.  We'll see.

Yes...I've had Komplete Kontrol for quite a while...
I thought you were referring to "within Kontakt"

I don't have a Controller either...but I've had KK since it was released last year...

Also, KK will list ALL NI Instruments...not just Kontakt...you can access them all from KK...

Go to the Synth Rack, and click add synth...

It will be there on the list...Komplete Kontrol
