here, because we're a mile above sea level,
glaucoma is fairly prevalent,
along with skin cancer, and autism.

I live and work in two of the states where weed is legal, but I don't smoke. Still waiting for my favorite mushrooms to become legal...

(Yes, I know it will never happen.)

I live in a state where almost everything is legal. I'm guessing it's only a matter of time before they legalize.

But I'm the most loyal, reclusive and boring stay at home husband. And I don't do drugs.

I do appreciate being able to buy a couple of beer at 5 am if so I wish though...

Isn't it peculiar that numb (very cold, long winters) states legalizes pot, whereas other states that have long hot summers are extremely reluctant to legalize pot.

Oh well, at least there are some states with good humanitarian values that respect the right for patients to live a better quality of life, to have options i.e. 'out-patient' pain management / cancer treatment, these patients will be relieved, they will also be at home mostly spending quality time with their family, its great for them and the economy!

That's sad :-(

A few years ago I lost my older sister due to cancer, her last days were horrific, absolutely terrible (no human being should be subjected to such unnecessary extent of suffering (see my post)). Now my niece has cancer; she is not expected to survive long due to the extent of her condition. Both live(d) in a country governed by draconian views and corruption. Its long suspected that mining has a lot to do with the high incidents of cancer... but the powers that be refuse to acknowledge that, nor do anything to resolve what is a very troubling matter, a very serious matter that's been an ongoing concern for decades!
