FabFilter has announced the launch of a new video series entitled "FabFilter Presents..."
Here's what they say:
As you probably know, we offer a large range of tutorial videos on our YouTube channel and thevideo section of the FabFilter website. These introduce our plug-ins and show useful tips, tricks and principles for mixing and mastering.
Now we'd like to highlight the other side: the artists, musicians, mixing engineers and producers that use our instrument and effect plug-ins in so many different ways. We're very happy to show you the first episode of our new "FabFilter Presents..." video series.
FabFilter Presents... Niels Broos - "Encounters"
Niels Broos is a Dutch keyboard player, producer and composer. Coming from a jazz background, he's now venturing into electronic music more and more. Exclusively for FabFilter, he performs the track"Encounters" live, for which he uses FabFilter Twin 2FabFilter One and of course various FabFilter effect plug-ins.
Watch out for more "FabFilter Presents..." videos in the future.

Great video, thanks for the heads up.

I have a few FabFilter products myself now (thanks to Dave here for point the way). And their tutorials are pretty damned good in my opinion. No Tutorial here, however, but watching the guy play was interesting...

Yawn...where's Dan Worrall? This is just some guy jamming with a looper and a drum machine.

Definitely the excellent lesson I've come to expect. It was more of a performance vid.

Seems me and Bit are again having a Vulcan mind meld. Noodling with a looper while grimacing and undulating do not necessarily a cohesive, substantive and engaging piece of musical art make. Sorry...said Grampa.

Did you miss the word 'not' from the sentences here. I'm not trying to be clever, I've found I've done so before and made the opposite point to what I meant. Your second sentence seems to suggest this too.

Video was a waste of time for me, just promotional stuff by the performer and software developer. Such a gulf between that and what they provide normally with Dan Warrel, it's confusing. It would be hard to top his videos, I've not seen better, so unfair to expect it, but I can't understand why you'd want to watch it. I would have been interested though in the guy discussing his approach to programming it, with a demo of playing included.

Stupid... I love their other vids... Worrall is superb and I want more of that!
