top job...!

Well written song, great job recording, mastering and in the video production.

writing a song like that is probably the hardest thing to do.

Chuck.... be proud, I know your brother would be, you did a superb job on that song.

The band looks good in the live shots....I would love to hear you guys live some day.

Thank everyone for your time & for the kind words!   I really appreciate it.

Janet- Yeah it took a few weeks of nights and weekends editing down the footage and syncing the shots.  We had 2 videographers & 3 fixed cameras filming that entire show (the one where most of the live footage is from).  We also got a good (not great but good) live recording (1 stereo board mix & 3 condensers hung towards the back of that huge room) which I mixed the best I could and we will be releasing live videos with the live audio for those also.  This song was important to me and I wanted to use the studio recording and make it more like a "music video".    That is like someone said...  an art in-and-of itself.

Daryl- We will have the live stuff up pretty soon.  And if you search youtube for Wallow Sound  there is a few live videos from one of our very 1st shows.  We were more of a cover band back then.  but it is cool stuff to look back at.  I think there is one with me Singing bodies from drowning pool, others with us doing 3 doors down (loser), and Remedy from Seether.

Guitartrek- Thanks man!

Danny- It was a blast & we will work together more in the future.

Paul- Yeah, it something about that song, everyone loves it but there is usually more of a memorized dear in the head lights kind of reaction to it.  They stop and pay attention to the words and the song itself rather than rocking out like they do for most of our stuff.  It is weird, but I have watched it occur at gig after gig.  Then after each show I get a couple dozen people tell me how touched they were by it and they felt it was our strongest song.  But the reaction is always the same.

Herb- Thanks man!  Where do you live?  We don't tour much currently.

Wookie & Kev - Thanks guys.  We try!

Wow! That was awesome! well done! It's a very moving song. I can't imagine loosing my kid brother. I'd loose my mind if that happened to me! This was beautiful Chuck. Great song, great tones and great performances.

And Danny, great mastering job. Sounds awesome here!

He had his demons that he fought... an on going struggle with prescription meds, we lost him to an overdose in 2008, he was only 27. No, it was not easy, especially because we were (as a family) just getting used to not having my father around, who passed away about 19 months prior to that at 50yr old after a 2 year fight with pancreatic cancer. After knowing that Dad was going to die & getting to say goodbyes but at the cost of watching him suffer, then losing Chris so suddenly with no warning, but no real prolonged suffering either... I can't say which is better way to lose someone close to you. Both are incredibly difficult to deal with in their own way.

Hey, Chuck,

I loved this great sounding, emotional rocker when you first posted it after Danny originally mastered it, and the cool, well thought out video really brings it all together and puts the icing on the cake!

Really nice work by everyone involved, excellent stuff, Chuck.  I'm sure your brother is up there smiling!

hey Chuck-you`ve come a long way from your early days here-awesome production and for someone who has lost a little brother and others ,very emotional footage.
the only consolation with losing someone is that time does ease the burden, but never the loss
cheers mate
