Hi all,
The first line of my song ("She Drives Me Crazy") was once "Something in the way she says my name". When I posted it in 2002 on GB, someone posted that it was to Beatles like in the first lines. So, I changed it to "There's something in the way she says my name". I just added the word "There's" to keep it from being to much like "Something". I thought it worked.
Last year I was listening to a old James Taylor interview. in the interview, he mentioned that when he was signed by the Beatles, that one of his songs was "there's something in the way she moves". JT thought that George may have used his song, "There's Something in the way she moves", to "write his song "Something". Who knows, but it made me feel like I had to put a new word in place of There's, or it would be to JT. That word is "It". The new way my song starts out is "It's something in the way she says my name"
This song is driving me crazy. LOL
I also found some new ways to mix, I think that it worked out better. Please let me know what you think.
Cheers, Terry
