Perfect. Do a back-up and don't touch it again.

Great story, and a great tune to honor the lady, Robby.  Exceedingly well done, my man.

:-) Thanks James! It wasn't a huge challenge to mix w/just the keys and vocals. But I still benefited from some pointers from Ed. Now a few possible colabs, and maybe another classic cover? I really like those.

Thanks Phil, take care, you are in my thoughts.

This is the best I've heard your voice.
Wonder why that is?
Stark arrangements do have a sort of , um, how do I say this. Hmm.
Actually I don't know what I'm trying to say. But I do feel it.

Ok, I thunk of something.
imagine the arrangement is a hand (nothing to do with Rosie).
Well, an open hand can only hold so much in it's palm without everything overflowing the edges.
With less held in the hand, everything in it is more better..

Nice Robbay....
sort of , um,,,,,, touching.....

:-) I don't do stark arrangements!!! I overproduce! It's my M.O.!!

Talk to the hand... LOL!

I was actually shaking hands with the Governor when I was uninterrupted by a story about horrible animal abuse :-( Someone was actually "flogging a dolphin??" Can you believe it? Horrible how low we have schtupped as a society. In my opinion, we need to get a grip on things before they get much worse, and beat off the negative influences on our culture. I say we grab the bull by the horn and all pull together to put an end it it.

Oh progress will come in spurts? But we shall remain strong, and stand tall till the end. Please accept these pearls of wisdom in the spirit that they are offered.  I know there are some great songs on the forum right now? I can only hope that this offers stiff competition, and that it will not be rubbed out before it's time.

I'm sorry, but I can get emotional sometimes? I need to get a hold of myself.

Very early 70s country rock, almost an Eagles tune.  Very nice, vocals are really sweet and this fits you well.  Good song well sung and I like the minimal instrumentation.  This is way cooler than than disco!

Nice job!

Sounds great.   I hear the early 70's country rock sound for sure, although it sounds more like Jackson Browne to me than the Eagles.   Very well produced.   I agree with Tim as well, your voice does lend itself well to the minimilist instrumentation.    Speaks to your skill as a vocalist;)

Actually, it is Jackson Browne.  It would make him smile, I would guess.  At least, it would make Rosie happy.
