New from Waves 5/11/2015
New technologies open new creative horizons. H-Reverb is a pioneering FIR reverb based on innovative Finite Impulse Response reverberation technology, providing richer, deeper reverb tails that sit beautifully in the mix while breathing crisp air into your tracks.

The FIR engine that powers H-Reverb lets you shape and customize the reverb decay envelope beyond the standard linear forms, resulting in perfectly gated, real reverse, and dense reverb tails that don’t muddy up the mix.

I watched about half of the tutorial video up on Youtube and this looks like a real nice plugin. The level of control available to each part of the reverb is really neat. Having said that, it doesn't sound much different to me than a beefed up Trueverb. It seems like a mashup of Trueverb and Eventide's H3000. If I didn't already have the Lexicon suite, Valhalla (room and shimmer) and H3000, I'd probably get this. Not to talk about what ReMatrix brings to the party.

Regards,
Dan

I've been using several days now. Very nice verb- going into my templates for special need, fxs- gated etc. along with basic verb chores too.
I just used it on bv's I needed to cut through a dense mix, a string section in a pop setting, on vb3 organ ( sounds very nice used along with Exponential's Excalibur's Rotary)
Fully featured & designed, useful presets too.

CPU is a bit heavy, I'm averaging about 1-3 instances in a project along with my go-tos PhoenixVerb, Lex & MIR / VSL algo in VEPro 5.

Pleased to get this included in Mercury this year. (along with Butch Vig Voc, dbx & Codex)

I checked out the online demo and it sounds really nice!  I'm currently using the Sonnox Oxford and Lexicon reverbs.  If this went to a croaker I'd buy it- although I think it's worth the $199US right now.  I paid that for the Oxford Reverb- on sale.

Yep. I sprung for an update to Mercury earlier this year on a special. It was a really silly low price and now to get these items added for no extra outlay is a real bargain. Not to mention that they have all been really useful additions.
