I posted a version back in September hoping for some help with the backing vocals as Jim can't sing that high. If anyone wants to help with the high harmonies that would be great. Just PM me.

As it stands now, I re-recorded all the guitars and bass. The drums are Addictive Drums.

I had fun making this track. I hope you enjoy it.

Back in the early days of MTV, this was a very popular song and was in the heavy rotation category.  I love Def Leppard and tried to do this song in my band.  I couldn't do it for several reasons, the main one being that we couldn't reproduce the vocals worth a darn.  This version comes much closer to reality than mine ever could.  Yet, that is the one weakness of this version, too.  You got the instruments right, and that's no piece of cake.  I give you a lot of credit for tackling this song, but IMHO, you don't quite own this, yet.  Perhaps if you rearranged this to suit your strengths I would think differently.  I hope you take this knowing that I'm in awe of your talent.

You're a rocker Primo... Love the guitars and bass, good job.  And if it's not fun? It's work, or spending time with the ex (nobody wants that) so please continue to do things, just for the fun of it! How did you process the guitar?

Kudos to Lynn for having significantly more grace than I with his feedback. I hope I did not offend you with my comments Robert, as they were not meant in that way.

Thanks Lynn. I appreciate the feedback and compliment.

Thanks Digi2ns. Thanks for the kind words. Actually, you gave me a good idea. Maybe If I give him the melody, in a lower key in his range, I can raise the pitch. Of course, he'll have to do it acapella.

Thanks Robby! I play a 1979 Les Paul custom with 57 classics/plus at the bridge and a Ibanez rg series with EMGs 81/85 B/N through a Blackstar HT-5. I record 2 signals. The emulated line out and a direct signal into my Octa-Capture. I use a little compression for both inputs with my OC. The clean input get a guitar amp model from Pod Farm 2. Then I eq all four channels. I send them to a bus where I use a LA2A compressor from IK to glue them up. A bus to reverb (Breverb Sonar) and chorus (Pod farm chorus) and then to the master.

I would mic the guitar cab but I really can't at present. I wish I could though. I put a 8ohm speaker in an old Fender 85 combo and can run it though that but it gets too loud. I could for the clean but the drive works better when you push it. It becomes work if I have to change everything to record things differntly all the time so I just record everything with the emulated out.

Lynn's comment was vague so your comment makes little effort other than to just post. I appreciate you taking the time to listen and I don't get offended unless it's destructive comments. I'm guilty of getting out of hand sometimes but I mean well.

You should try to model yourself after me (anything I post in the afternoon that is...)
