OK, so no show, as Best Service and Time+Space seem to cancel US orders. You do get a nice $50 voucher at Best Service for your trouble, though.

Question: do any of you guys have the Bob Moog expansion? Is it worth the $100?

Having watched a longer NAMM demo I'm a bit more enthused about it than I was, but according to the email I got today the upgrade version will be d/load only and is 14GB which has put me off again as big downloads usually fail a few times for me and usually right near the end, never at the beginning.

Oh my, I hope that ain't so. I didn't get an email from Spectrasonics; could you paste the relevant text?

I didn't receive anything from Spectrasonics either. I am definitely interested in the upgrade. I have been searching for the DL size but unsuccessful. Thanks for posting that.

I don't have the Bob Moog addon pack for Omni.  been thinking about getting it but haven't.

Omni 2 I have not received any emails from spectrasonics.  I own all 3 of their products Omni, Trillian, Sylus RMX.  haven't received anything about OMni 2 yet.

I have read and heard that Omni 2 will only be download upgrade but no size as of yet.  Maybe once it gets closer to release or is released then there will me more details and a DVD deliverable version of the upgrade.

Question, will Ominsphere 2 have the same library of Omnisphere 1 plus the new features? Ominsphere 1 has 42 gb of library. If you are buying Omnisphere 2, that is a very large library to down load. The upgrade of 14 gb makes sense if it only includes the new features. I have recently purchased Omnisphere 1, but I have not received from Spectrasonics any info on the upgrade.

This is pretty much the way of the future. As connections get better, it's easier to download large files. Remember back when jpgs were only 40kb and took about 30 seconds to download?

I'm sure that Omni 2 will likely be in multiple files rather than a single one so if one would get corrupted, you should be able to just redownload the one that isn't working properly and you're good to go.

Yes, Omnisphere 2 will include all the Omnisphere 1 content.

If you were to buy the Omnisphere 2 full package, not an update, you will have the option of ordering boxed media. Because you already have Omnisphere, you'll only need to get the 14GB update, not the entire Omnisphere 2 product.

The question that hasn't been answered yet is whether there will be an option to order hard media for the update only.
